Working hours and Period of Contract
Mavericks Revue Bar is open Monday to Saturday from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Dancers are required to work 5 days per week with 2 days off. The term of the contract is minimum 3 months. The contract and the work visa could be extended up to two years.
Dancers are required to be dressed elegantly sexy at all times. Mavericks has a resident hairdresser, choreographer and stage manager who assist the dancers with outfits and the entire look that the club requires. Long and short dresses and see-through are allowed on floor. Dancer's costumes and sexy lingerie are worn on stage. High heels and boots are allowed. Dancers are required to change outfits at least once during an evening. Each dancer needs at least two themed fantasy outfits.
The levies are R2000 ($286) per week to dance at the club, and R850 ($121) per week for accommodation. No house fee is charged. The dancer should arrive with enough money to enable her to pay for the basic living expenditures during her initial stay.
Mavericks does not sponsor or credit the purchase of airplane tickets for dancers travelling from Europe or Asia. Round-trip tickets cost an average of $ 1,200 to $ 1,400.
Mavericks will not tolerate drugs or illegal substances on its premises or the taking of drugs by any of the Club’s dancer’s or staff. Anyone caught with drugs on their possession or taking drugs in the Club will have their contract terminated immediately and be sent home. In addition, Mavericks will not tolerate the use of drugs at anytime while a dancer is contracted with Mavericks. Dancers will be subject to random drug tests to ensure they are drug free.
